After her ex-husband Jason Alexander broke into her home and attempted to crash her wedding to Sam Asghari, Ritney Spears reportedly fired the security staff.
According to insiders close to the diva, the 40-year-old pop artist has now hired a whole new crew to take the place of her previous security personnel.
Britney, who wed Sam last Thursday, allegedly fired her security personnel right away following the incident.
Jason was charged with trying to gatecrash the pop star’s wedding last week while carrying a knife, and he entered a not guilty plea to all four charges when he was arraigned in Ventura, California on Monday.
The 40-year-old man, who has been detained since his arrest on June 9th, has pleaded not guilty to charges of felony stalking, violence, vandalism, and trespassing at Spears’ $7.4 million Thousand Oaks mansion, where she had just wed her longtime fiancé Sam Asghari.
The wedding eventually took place despite the tragedy. On June 10, however, the couple was given a temporary restraining order against Alexander, requiring him to stay at least 100 yards away from them or their house.
Judge Catherine Voelker of Ventura County Superior Court set bond at $100,000 at the 15-minute hearing on Monday and mandated that Alexander return on Wednesday for a “pre-trial risk assessment.”
Due to the felony stalking charge, the judge informed Alexander, who appeared in court via video hookup from the local jail, that if he managed to raise the $100,000 bail, he would be prohibited from ‘contacting, annoying, or harassing’ Britney and her new husband for three years and from being within 100 yards of them.
In January 2004, Spears wed Alexander, a friend from childhood, in Las Vegas. 55 hours later, the marriage was declared null and void. According to Spears’ attorneys, the singer “lacked awareness of her behavior.”
Spears and Kevin Federline, with whom she has two boys who are 14 and 15 years old, were formerly married from 2004 until 2007.
On the set of the music video shoot for her single “Slumber Party” in 2016, she met Asghari.
