Miguna Miguna, the self-proclaimed General of the National Resistance Movement, has produced a list of 12 Kenyan politicians and businesses with forged or dubious academic credentials.

Miguna, who lives in exile in Canada, produced the list after it was revealed that Johnson Sakaja, a Nairobi gubernatorial candidate for the United Democratic Alliance, lacks a university diploma.

Miguna said that phony academic qualifications are not limited to Sakaja, naming 12 politicians and leaders with dubious credentials.

President Uhuru Kenyatta, ODM party leader Raila Odinga, Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho, Taita Taveta Governor Granton Samboja, Jubilee Party powerbroker Richard Ngatia, Nairobi Senator Johnson Sakaja, former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko, former Kiambu County Governor Ferdinand Waititu, Mombasa Gubernatorial aspirant Abdulswamad Shariff Nassir, COTU boss Francis Atwoli

Thousands of Kenyan politicians, according to Miguna, have questionable academic degrees.
