The latest opinion survey done by the National Intelligence Service (NIS) shows that former Prime Minister Raila Odinga is unstoppable in the race to the August 9th election, according to ICT Cabinet Secretary Joe Mucheru.
Mucheru said two weeks ago that a NIS poll showed Raila Odinga will win the August 9th election by more than 60%.
Mucheru’s declaration was met with diverse emotions, with Deputy President William Ruto and his Kenya Kwanza Alliance team contesting the results.
Mucheru, who appeared on KTN News on Monday morning, informed Kenyans about the results of the current NIS opinion poll.
According to the CS, the latest NIS polls show Raila Odinga winning with 64 percent of the vote, with Ruto trailing far behind.
If the allegations are accurate, Raila’s popularity is rising, which is a major blow for Ruto, the Kenya Kwanza Alliance presidential candidate.
