Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga is the man to beat in the August 9th election, according to a Mizani Africa opinion poll.
According to a poll released on Friday, if elections were held today, Raila Odinga would receive 47.5 percent of the total votes cast, while Ruto would receive 46.6 percent.
Raila will receive 7,954,794 votes, while Ruto will receive 7,464,793 votes, according to the pollster.
The Mizani poll comes a day after an Infotrak poll revealed that Raila Odinga will easily defeat Ruto in August.
Raila will win the election on August 9th with 42 percent of the vote, while Ruto will come in second with 38 percent, according to an infotrak poll.
