Anthony Anderson, an American actor, has consented to his wife Alvina Anderson’s spousal support request.

According to court documents acquired by PEOPLE, the 51-year-old actor agreed to pay spousal support to his estranged wife retroactively. Following an assessment of their individual finances, the sum will be determined by the ex-joint couple’s forensic accountant.

Alvina is requesting that the court “use its jurisdiction” and issue spousal support orders retroactive to March 1, 2022, “or the date of their separation, whichever is later.” Payments should not be made retroactively before June 1, 2022, according to Anthony’s legal team.

As part of their arrangement, the couple has agreed to sell their home in Encino, California, and split the proceeds equally between them.

The judge ordered Anthony to sign a 12-month lease with his wife “so that she can find alternate residence.”
