Unknown gunmen assassinated a well-known Embu businessman in cold blood last night.
Dennis Mbae aka Mbuyu, a prominent entrepreneur in Embu town, was ambushed by gunmen while conducting errands and had his car blasted with gunfire.
He was not robbed by the attackers, who departed without taking anything from him.
He was brought to the adjacent Embu Level 5 hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries while receiving treatment.
The motive for the cold-blooded murder is still being investigated by police.
