Blac Chyna, Rob Kardashian’s ex-fiancée, allegedly agreed to abandon her revenge-porn lawsuit against him, but has now backed out of the bargain.

Kardashian’s counsel urged the Court to enforce the settlement deal that was purportedly provided by Chyna’s attorney, Lynne Ciani, on May 23 in court documents filed Monday, June 6.

According to Kardashian’s lawyers, Chyna, 34, promised to dismiss the complaint if his client could help her get out of a related lawsuit brought by Justin C. Jones.

Jones, a “former buddy,” accuses the exes of “public exposure of private data” and “deliberate infliction of mental distress,” according to the paperwork. In October 2017, he filed a defamation, cyberbullying, and emotional distress lawsuit against Rob and Chyna, alleging the former pair wrongly outed him as gay.

Melissa Lerner, one of the Kardashians’ attorneys, stated in the affidavit that the revenge porn case should not proceed because both parties had already agreed to settle.

Lerner added the following to the motion:

“At best, Chyna’s belated repudiation of the parties’ settlement agreement is a strategy to exact monies from Rob at the eleventh hour.

“At worst, it is a tactic deliberately intended to interfere with Rob’s preparation for trial and prejudice his ability to fully and fairly present his defense. Such outrageous conduct should not be counseled.”

“Under California law, settlement conversations are confidential,” Ciani responded to Kardashian and his legal team. Rob Kardashian broke California law by allegedly disclosing details of ongoing settlement negotiations.

Ciani stated:

“Chyna is permitted under California law to disclose that settlement discussions regarding her revenge porn case against her ex-fiancé are ongoing. When and if a confidential settlement is reached in this case, Chyna will alert the court first and then the media.”

Kardashian, who has a 5-year-old daughter with Chyna, testified in April in Chyna’s $140 million defamation action against Kim and Khloé Kardashian, as well as Kris and Kylie Jenner. The jury found Kris, Kim, and Kylie acted to safeguard their own economic interests, but they did not award Chyna any damages.

Ciani stated after the trial that Chyna intended to appeal the case.

In a separate revenge porn case, Chyna accused Rob of posting multiple naked photographs of her on his Instagram in July 2017. During this time, Rob went on a social media rampage, claiming that his ex fiancé had cheated on him while they were together.

Lisa Bloom, Chyna’s former attorney wrote in the initial October 2017 filing;

“Rob Kardashian’s Instagram account, with over nine million followers, was deleted by Instagram after he posted photos of Ms. White’s genitals, buttocks and nipples.

“In one post, Rob Kardashian said, ‘This is a pic Chyna sent me before she f–ked another man in her house with my baby in the house and her son in the house…’ This statement was false and specifically designed to harm Ms. White’s reputation by slut-shaming her.”

Rob’s plea to enforce the settlement agreement to drop the revenge porn case has yet to be decided by the judge. Should the revenge porn case proceed, his attorneys have requested an emergency meeting tomorrow to address the issue and to postpone the June 13 trial date.
