Polycarp Igathe, a Nairobi gubernatorial hopeful, has once again raised eyebrows with his customary pranks after sharing images of himself cleaning a toilet in the Central Business District.
If he is elected Governor, he has promised to reform the administration of restrooms in the CBD.
“The management of public toilets in Nairobi should be open, transparent, fair, and effective,” he commented on his Facebook page after posting the photographs. More public toilets should be installed in market areas, bus stops, and throughout the CBD to preserve people’s health and the environment. The #IgatheKaloki government has made a commitment to do so. We’ll have a bright and tidy city!”
