Julie Gichuru, a former Citizen TV presenter, has been accused of intimidating regular Kenyans who reside near the Mzima House beach resort in Diani, which her family recently purchased.
Mumbi Seraki, a veteran radio host, took to Twitter to claim that the former media personality turned businesswoman had barred locals from using the Galu public beach, which is adjacent to the resort.
Residents had access to the beach for 12 years until Julie’s family bought the high-end beach resort.
She claims that black people constitute a hazard to tourists and does not want to see them near the resort she manages.
