The homecoming to Azimio of Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka may have just guaranteed the destiny of Deputy President William Ruto in August.
The importance of Kalonzo in the upcoming elections cannot be emphasized.
Kalonzo regularly provided more than 1.5 million votes to Raila’s vote basket in both the 2013 and 2017 General Elections, according to statistics.
His return to Azimio la Umoja is a significant boost to Raila Odinga’s fifth presidential bid.
Kalonzo encouraged Kenya Kwanza presidential contender William Ruto to prepare to return home in the August poll while speaking at Mukuru Kwa Njenga yesterday.
According to the Wiper leader, he has returned to play the role of famed footballer Lionel Messi in order to assure Raila’s victory in the August elections.
“I was taking a break. Raila had kept me on hand as a backup. I’m back now. “I’m this team’s Messi, and I’m back to give victory,” Kalonzo stated.
Kalonzo further stated that with his arrival, President Uhuru Kenyatta will no longer need to actively campaign for the Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya coalition party flag bearer because the team is strong enough.
