Unknown robbers broke into a pastoral residence at a Parish in Litein and made off with an undisclosed quantity of cash, according to Kericho police.
According to a report from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations, the criminals stormed into the priests’ home at St. Mark Catholic Parish on Tuesday night when they were deep sleeping (DCI).

According to Parish Priest Fr Moses Langat, who reported the crime to the Litein Police Station, the suspects “gained entry into the church and destroyed the tabernacle, a liturgical item used to contain the Eucharist.”

Since then, officers have visited the area and reviewed the evidence in the hopes of apprehending the culprits.
