Aisha Jumwa, a member of Parliament from Malindi, congratulated Narc Kenya Chairperson Martha Karua on being picked as Raila Odinga’s running mate in August.
Jumwa, who is running for governor of Kilifi on a United Democratic Alliance (UDA) ticket, complimented Martha Karua, saying it was the finest thing that could have occurred to Deputy President William Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza Alliance team, speaking in Malindi town on Friday.
She claims Martha is an excellent lawyer and thinks she can advise Raila Odinga on how to accept defeat if DP Ruto defeats him in August.
“I applaud Raila Odinga’s selection of Martha Karua as his running companion in August. We’re hoping she can advise the ODM leader on how to accept defeat if he loses to Ruto in August,” Jumwa remarked.
