Gatundu Moses Kuria, a South Member of Parliament, has forecasted how many votes Deputy President William Ruto will receive in the Mulembe Nation in August.

Kakamega, Bungoma, Vihiga Trans Nzoia, and Busia counties are all part of the Mulembe Nation.

Ruto will receive 95% in Bungoma, 95% in Trans Nzoia, 80% in Vihiga, 70% in Kakamega, and 60% in Busia County, according to Kuria.

On Thursday, Kuria said on his Facebook page, “Expect William Ruto to garner the following: Bungoma 95 percent, Trans Nzoia county 95 percent, Vihiga 80 percent, Kakamega 70 percent, and Busia County 60 percent.”

Kuria, a staunch member of the Kenya Kwanza Alliance, joined Ruto three months ago and is running for governor of Kiambu under the Chama Cha Kazi banner.

Since Mulembe Nation has historically been a stronghold of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, Kuria’s statement is difficult to trust.
