Concerns have been aroused among Kenya Kwanza members when it was revealed that Mathira MP Rigathi Gachagua has begun a campaign against Deputy President William Ruto even before they are elected.
This was revealed by Ruto’s Rift Valley allies, who are now kicking themselves for choosing Rigathi Gachagua as Ruto’s running mate.
Kiigen Koech, a UDA candidate for the Kilimani Ward Member of County Assembly position, said in an alarmist tweet that Rigathi Gachagua is battling Ruto.
Rigathi, according to Koech, began battling Ruto even before they were sworn in as president.
He prophesied that the country will operate like a gangster’s paradise with such a fighting couple in charge.
He pointed out that Gachagua is overly ambitious and is pushing Ruto too hard, which could be an issue once they take power.
“RUTO is being fought by RIGATHI GACHAGUA. A dangerous duo like this! This country will not be managed in the manner of a GANGSTER’S PARADISE,” Koech declared.
After a marathon 17-hour meeting, Ruto picked Gachagua as his running mate on Sunday, after Tharaka Nithi Senator Kithure Kindiki was manipulated out of the position.
