Karen Nyamu insults Martha Karua, prompting a response from KOT. For years, Karen Nyamu has been shadowing Martha Karua.

Kenyans on social media defended Martha Karua and challenged Karen to prove her worth, questioning what she has brought to the table to justify dismissing the Azimio running partner.

After attacking Narc Kenya head Martha Karua, politician Karen Nyamu has found herself on the wrong side of Kenyans online.

Raila Odinga’s running mate, Martha, had recently been announced.

Karen used social media to shame Martha, writing, “Politics is a numbers game, plain and simple. Please show us your numbers, Martha Karua. Thanks.”

The post received over a thousand responses, with some asking why her numbers did not get her a ticket to run for senator of Nairobi under the Kenya Kwanza Alliance.

As if that wasn’t enough, she went on and mocked Martha once more.

“In the year 2022, being required to demonstrate your political clout is a man’s domain. To expect the same of a woman is considered a touchy subject LOL please give me a break! Martha Karua, Raila Odinga’s running mate, wapi numbers, my friend!”

This isn’t the first time Karen has darkened Martha completely. Before Azimio had even agreed on a running companion,

Karen stated, “Azimio has been rocked by the thorny problem of a running mate. If Baba chooses Kalonzo Musyoka, he will return home at 6 a.m.; if he chooses Gideon Moi, he will return home at 5 a.m.; and if he chooses Martha Karua, he will be in Bondo by 7 a.m. So Baba, not a vetting panel, gets to determine when he wants to go home.”

Kenyans expressed their views in her comments area. Some were as ferocious as they could be, while others expressed their support for Martha. Others were too gruesome to print again.

Kim Joe: Mrs Samidoh, you’re petty and envious. With that mindset, you’ll never get to where Martha has.

Martha has never met John Odede.

Eunice Machira: Gachagua ni wa kwetu Nyeri, but how many people know him across the country? Martha, on the other hand, is well-known throughout the country… We win when a woman wins…. #TeamMartha

Jim Omondi: Leadership and honesty are more important than numbers.

Ben Oluoch: Concentrate your efforts on twerking with Kenya Kwisha associates. Karua is out of your league.

Patty Luko: Martha Heri I’ve known her since I was a child, but it was only yesterday that I heard his name…only he’s known in Mathira.

Integrity, loyalty, and skill are more valuable, according to Partel Msoh. You won’t understand if your head is preoccupied with numbers, “story,” and being too innocent as well as politically green.

Elsie Anyango Nyargem: It’s not about the numbers at all…

We want change, and if there is a woman present, some of us will undoubtedly notice the difference.

Blessing, Vickie: Before you hate another woman, show us one election you’ve ever won! You’re only relying on people because you can’t do it alone! Tuko kula za Baba na Martha

Peter D O Wanyama: I wasn’t planning on voting, but now I’m going to vote because of Martha!

Ken Simiyu: Martha Karua isn’t your agemate, you’re not competing for anything, yeye si mke wa Samidoh, why are you so hateful of her?

Clement Be First: The Iron Lady must be respected… I’m confident you’ll vote for her.

Karua has not been chosen to bring votes for Baba, according to Prince Mwas. She was chosen because of her abilities. She was the most qualified of all the contenders. Baba would have chosen Kalonzo if he desired numbers. He chose Karua to help transform the country’s politics.

Kariuki, Michael: You’d be senator designate for your coalition if you had the numbers!
