How to Obtain an EACC Certificate of Clearance

Self-declaration forms must be completed in duplicate by the applicant (two copies).
Please enclose the following documents:

  • A copy of your driver’s license or passport is required.
  • A copy of the KRA PIN Certificate is attached.
  • Academic Certificates Copies

The applicant must sign the form and have his or her signature witnessed by a Commissioner for Oaths or a Magistrate.

The details are verified when the completed form is sent, and the application is acknowledged by stamping on the copy of the application that the applicant keeps.

The completed form can be dropped out in person or on behalf of the applicant at the EACC Head Office in Nairobi’s Integrity Centre, or at any EACC Regional Office or Huduma Center around the country. Please do not submit the form on the internet.

Although no certificate is given, the Commission will provide a confidential report on all short-listed applicants to the employing agency/panel.

On the Commission’s website, www.eacc.go.ke, you can download the forms.

NB. Giving false information to the Commission is a criminal offense punishable by a fine of Kshs. 5 million or a term of imprisonment of 5 years, or both, under Section 46 (1) (d) of the Leadership and Integrity Act, 2012.
